What's in the box when the camcorder arrives?

Each camcorder ships with 3 fully charged batteries (around 8 hours of total runtime), a charger, a 256 GB SD card (plenty for the full day), a branded carry bag, a printed instruction card, and small guiding stickers on the device itself so guests know exactly what to press.

How long do the batteries last?

Each battery runs the camera for around 2.5 hours. With three included you get roughly 8 hours of continuous filming. The charger is in the bag — swap a battery whenever the indicator gets low.

What size SD card is included? Will it run out?

A 256 GB card is included with each camera, which comfortably holds a full wedding day of HD/4K footage. You'll never need to offload mid-day.

Do we need to do anything technical?

No. Press record. Stickers on the device label every button you'll need. We send a one-page guide with the package — most couples never look at it.

When does the package arrive and when do we send it back?

The cameras arrive 3–4 days before your wedding. A prepaid return label is included — drop the bag at any post office within 3 days after the wedding.

What's the rental window?

Standard rental covers the full wedding weekend. Need longer (destination wedding, honeymoon)? Email us — we can add extra days at a small daily rate.

Can guests film at the afters or next-day brunch too?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the rental covers the whole weekend, so the rehearsal dinner, the day itself, and the next-morning brunch are all fair game.

Can I book for an event that isn't a wedding?

Yes — birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties, milestone celebrations, festivals. If you want camcorders there, we'll send them. Email us with the details.

Question 9

How far in advance do I need to book?

At least four weeks before your wedding so we have time to ship the cameras to you. We recommend booking 3–6 months ahead to secure your date.

What's included in the price?

Accepted Answer

Cameras, batteries, SD cards, shipping both ways, all raw footage, and a professionally edited film. There are no hidden costs.

Is there a tripod included?

Accepted Answer

Not in the standard package. You can add a tripod as an optional extra at booking for €45 — handy for the speeches or a static angle of the dance floor.

Can we have a second camera as backup?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can add a backup camera body at booking for €100. Same model, same look, sitting in the bag in case anything happens to the primary camera.

Can we add disposable film cameras for the tables?

Accepted Answer

Yes — disposable cameras are an optional add-on at booking, €50 each, including development, scanning, and the digital scans emailed to you. A lovely complement to the camcorder footage.

What format is the final film delivered in?

MP4, full HD, downloadable via a private link. Raw footage is delivered separately via WeTransfer so you keep everything.

Can we choose the music?

Yes — you can suggest tracks in the questionnaire we send after booking. We handle licensing.

Who edits the films?

Filmmakers. Our lead editor has produced films for Netflix, Red Bull, and Patagonia. We're not a content factory — we're a small studio that takes editing seriously.

Anywhere in Ireland, the UK, and Europe. For destinations further afield, email us first.

What if a camera is damaged or lost?

There's a deposit and a rental agreement that covers minor wear-and-tear. Significant damage or loss is charged at replacement cost. We'll send the full agreement when you book.

How does payment work?

50% deposit at booking, 50% balance auto-charged to the same card 30 days before your wedding. Both via Stripe.

What if my wedding is cancelled or postponed?

We'll move your booking to a new date free of charge. Cancellations are subject to our terms — full details in the rental agreement.

Can I see examples of your work?

We're a new company, so our gallery is still filling up. Our first films will be added as they're delivered. In the meantime, email us and we can share private samples.

Why Super 8?

Because nothing else looks like it. Super 8 footage has a quality that digital cameras can't replicate — it feels like a memory the moment it's shot. We weave a small amount of it through Tier 3 films as the emotional anchor.
